I love to capture sharp, beautiful images of moments in time. These moments are what life is about --- they happen every day and collectively make up our lives. I like to create images that tell stories. I love to use aperture to isolate the subject and blur out the rest of the world. I also like to capture relationships, emotions, and connections. My style is a mixture of documentary photography and lifestyle photography. I like to capture what really happens in people's lives without interfering too much. Although I do formal portraiture and can see the appeal of these images, my favorite pictures are those that show unstaged moments in life. I edit my images minimally and prefer to keep them true to life.
I believe that good photography doesn't have to be expensive. In a way, I am hoping that I can provide others with what I want for
myself -- someone skilled in photography who can creatively and beautifully capture the moments in a family's life and then share the images at a reasonable cost. My dream is to capture meaningful images that keep moments in time for families and individuals.
